A Punjabi Short Film directed by Deepak Sharma bags the Best Short Film -Jury Award at the 3rd Dada Saheb Film Festival 2013 held in Noida on April 30, 2013. Rohit Bhardwaj, who plays the character of main protagonist in the film, has also won the Best Actor Award for his performance.

Deepak discloses that the film is scheduled to participate in all the upcoming Film Festivals across the globe.
Now, WAAPASI is all set to be screened in Toronto. It has been selected for the upcoming Punjabi International Film Festival 2013 that is scheduled from May 16-20, 2013 in Toronto.
